Milena Velba And Old Car

Steampunk

As we said more than once, use this blog just to talk about would be to repeat the formula emo until exhaustion of the reader, so being a little more eclectic, steampunk talk today.

Clearly, the overall theme of the blog will always be the emo and everything connected with this, but sometimes it is rather a change of subject.

Initially, steampunk is a literary subgenre was born in the eighties, fantasy and sci-fi. It grew out of cyberpunk (in literary genre is often an alternative post-apocalyptic future where machines have power over humans). Is set in alternate Victorian (nineteenth century), in the era of steam engines, where the main fuel is coal, but instead to move towards electric technology of our time, continue along the same lines, creating eccentric steam engines, mechanical crafts complicated creations such as robots, inside full of gears and strange way to power.

As happened with cyberpunk, there were movies, anime and video games based on books steampunk and thanks to that, there was fashion.

The steampunk aesthetic is one of the most original present. It is true that more and more steampunks, but still a minority urban tribe.

Unlike many others, is based on roles of the characters in this fantasy, giving sub-styles of steampunk.

Sir / Lady

is the most elegant of all aesthetic. It is based on aristocratic dress in a way, but still use the goggles (everyone wears those glasses):

Steampunk Adventurer

One of the most common and has many variations. Tend to use elements from other cultures, such as skirts Gypsies (the wide), bracelets and necklaces Indians ... The safari is used mainly by men but instead, the airman is a taste preference for both sexes.

Scientist / scholar

tendency mad scientist, is one of the roles where there are more males.

engineer

The typical builder of gadgets so important in the steampunk world. One of the most attractive styles in the amount of "inventions" that takes over, it is often relegated to cosplay.

Steampirate

Both pirates submarine Nautilus as a crew until air pirates flying machines, blimps or hot air balloon. Often have many aesthetic aspects similar to the pirates / pirates of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, for example, boots, or the simplicity of some clothes and other luxury. And do not forget the weapons.

monster hunter:

Especially vampires, a la Van Helsing and Mina Harker (though she is a vampire). Is preferred by those who are "steamgóticos."

Steampunk Lolita Fashion Lolita was swift to embrace the steampunk to their particular style.

As good style is, always end up coming out of it and sub-branches was created and dieselpunk clockpunk.

The clockpunk is based on the Renaissance. The secretions of gears (like a clock) from Da Vinci is the basis of clockpunk.

dieselpunk The other style is futuristic, as above, but is based on the 30, 40 and 50. Dieselpunk film par excellence is Sky Captain. So called because the fuel is used to move the creations.

fashion. As we all know, modern are those who dress according to fashion, sometimes ahead of those. Such is the social impact of this "tribe" that even the agenda of the Sixth These are not news made a kind of story in a humorous tone about them.

Many people believe that modern retro dress and that is false. The modern are above any fashion, will jump at a time as it takes and what is not. And this is where the scene and the modern meet.

To begin with, the modern scene is NOT the English are different things. The modern, off the English language, called Hipster, Salon-kei in Japan. For Hipster, does not refer to the urban tribe of the 40's, if not the new meaning of the term. In Asia land Nipponese continue succeeding although the new rave, the salon-kei are gaining ever more importance, give of its appearance in 2002.

And then, what are the differences Scene and modern / hispter / salon-kei?
Both are a way of life based on follow trends and jump from one to another. Neither is usually an aesthetic style (the scenes are NOT going to fashioncore, that's old fashioned) or a defined musical style (although usually listen to modern indie and the like) but a difference is based on how to further such trends. While only choose modern clothing or recycled and are often influenced by fashion designers (who are dictating what goes and what not), the scenes are mixed with underground culture, go further getting into the scene.

Another difference is that using the Scene looking to get known and thus earn a living. An example is Dakota Rose (designer and model) or Jeffree Star (designer, model and singer).

Official Letter Of Condolence From Church

FORMULA 1 MICHAEL DIED NOT

I put it on facebook, so I restart here. A friend said - I think that just putting words to a feeling very very difficult to explain to those who did not live with glare, the '80 youth - to learn of the death of Michael Jackson was like to believe that Mickey Mouse die.
.
.
Michael is more than one kind of strange habits. Is an icon of an era, is the embodiment of a time when the world and, far above all this, is the body which specifies a series of human ambitions in others are limited by lack of money, power , personality or daring. All like to be something other than what we are: Michael changed his face. All like to transcend our biological conditioning: Michael decided to stop being black. No one would grow old, Michael decided to be a child forever. We all look to be the center of the world: Michael was.
.
.
Somehow, that particular product in an elusive figure that some find it monstrous that no design is personalized, independent of a subject that was forged himself, which owes its be no power relations more or less deliberate in a historical context, but its almost complete control. So Michael does not feel normal, because it is not normalized, because he always answered his own rules, because the assembly of its parts was conducted from self to others and not from others to himself.
.
.
is the man who could, overcoming the limitations of fact, skipping past his own shadow. Michael is not, then a man. So his death is unlikely.
.
.
And its source - it seems - has more water than could be imaginable. Nobody would want to die: Michael also has conquered death.
